Always a fan of your newsletters- as a fellow under 18 McDonald's worker and then bar worker, this one hit close to home. I was lucky, I trained to do kids parties which meant my minimum wage in 2002/3 went to 5.25 an hour, practically a fortune! Was this pub in Gossy Barca I wonder? Spent many a night there for open mic. Can relate to the rude customer stories and management telling you sexual harassment was 'part of the job.' SO relatable!
I feel as if I am an NLOG. I’ve always stayed away from other women and often had a visceral fear of them, especially in groups. This is largely due to being bullied by other women either in work or outside of work.
As one of your brand new subscribers I just wanted to say I thought this was fantastic and I can't wait for next week!
Wow, thanks so much Kiersten - that's made my day!
